# Formatting a number as a percent...

I have a formula that I can;t remember how to format the result to show as a percent instead of a decimal

=IF(SUM(R162:T162)=100%, "All accounted for", "only " & SUM(R162:T162) & "% accounted for")

### Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
IF(SUM(R162:T162)=1, "All accounted for", "only " & text(SUM(R162:T162), "0%") & " accounted for")

Example:

TEXT(SUM(R162:T162),"0.0%")

=IF(SUM(R162:T162)=1,"All accounted for","only "&TEXT(SUM(R162:T162),"0%")&"accounted for")

Try, not tested:-

Code:
``=IF(SUM(R162:T162)=100, "All accounted for", "only " & TEXT(SUM(R162:T162)/100,"0.00%") & " accounted for")``

I hope this helps!

THANK you all so very much!! I just could not remember that.
