When using the text function, it does not work when there is a letter amid the id.

For example I want to insert a dash every 5 places for the id 001265821KARR1787098

But this does not work....=TEXT(K71,"00000-00000-00000-00000").

Does any one know what will work? I do not now what letters will be inserted, where, or how many.

Thanks.
