Hi

When formatting dates it is possible to change the location so that the date is formatted in another language. But how can I do this for custom formatting. My goal is to obtain the full name of the month in another language (mmmm)

Thanks for your help

Kind regards

Al

Excel Facts

Easy bullets in Excel
If you have a numeric keypad, press Alt+7 on numeric keypad to type a bullet in Excel.
Set any date format in the desired language, then go to custom and edit the dd/mm/yy portion of the format.

The first part of the custom format, [$-##] defines the language.
