Hello,

So I have the results of a survey and the output given were

NameProfCourseDescriptionProf2Course3DescriptionProf5Course6DescriptionProf8Course9DescriptionProf11Course12DescriptionProf14Course15Description

Each row has the responses. However I need it to look like

Name Prof Course Description
Prof 2 Course 3 Description 4

I have 30 rows with data recorded like this and need to generate 30 individual mini-tables with Prof, Course, Description kept to each name, but stacked for each name.

I am unsure how else to phrase it and I hope my illustration made sense.

Is there an easy way to do this? I've been going row by row and cutting and pasting in a different workbook.

Please help me and thank you very much. I am a senior in college and trying to create a database for my sorority and am not great with excel.

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Several questions come to mind. 1. How is the survey data given to you? is it in excel already? or are you pulling it in from another file? 2. Creating 30 tables with the data your provided would take less time than it did to sign up and ask the question, so I am assuming you have additional survey data that you will want to populate your tables with. lastly the above example; do you want the Name in one cell and the Prof Prof2 in a cell with the text wrapped. so that they are stacked. and then course and course 3 and ....so on. ?
