Hello all,

I am trying to format a percentage...but with no luck. I want the percentage to have 2 decimal places and the % if greater then zero but show nothing in the cell if the result is zero. Is this possible?

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
What about a conditional format:
When value is 0 font and pattern are white.

ok in the cell that will = put =IF(I6,I6,"") change the row and colums as you need it. then in that cell right click and then format cell,then pick the number tab and pick you Decimal. the way this works is

if (the cell you are pulling from, if true then that cell, if false then " ") the "" makes it empty.

Assuming that the value in the cell is the result of a calculation then use a formula of this type:

=if((calculation)>0,(calculation),"")

eg. =IF((A1-B1)/B1>0,(A1-B1)/B1,"")

Hope this helps,

The only problem is that I have multiple colored (fill) cells I want to apply this too....so I could do that but would have to specify the color text for each different color fill....sort of a pain.
