I am trying to copy and paste numbers from a java calculator on a website into Excel, but the format when copied doesn't seem to be recognised as a number by excel. I know this because I have a cell which is trying to sum these numbers and the result is returned as zero.

I am using Windows XP, have Excel 2007 and am running Mozilla Firefox 3.6.17.

The reason why I say this is because on my Win 7 machine I don't have the same problem, the numbers are recognised running fine and I am using exactly the same copy of Excel 2007 and running Mozilla Firefox 3.6.17.

Any ideas, how to solve this? Thanks.

Dan
