formatting problem

Situation:
* The calculated value of A1 is 5.0666666666667.
* The desired output for A1 is 5.1 day(s).


Question: How can 5.1 day(s) be displayed in A1? When “day(s)” is appended to A1 the format for the cell is no longer treated as a number.
