Formatting Seconds in the ribbon

Hi Forum,

I am setting up a report which has the mm:ss of call answer times for each day. I have the workbook setup in a custom way that on the surface it is reporting mm:ss. However, when I click on the cell w the time in it the ribbon is showing 12:12:00 AM.

How can I have the figures in the ribbon match the mm:ss instead of working as a clock format?

Are you able to add another column with =TEXT(TARGETCELL,"MM:SS") then copy paste values?

Any way to keep it in the same column? Looking to keep the format this way I can copy and paste it from another table.
