Formatting the currency on certain columns (cells) based on the value on a different column but same row...

Here's whats up:

column A column B
Euro 15.00
Euro 7.00
USD 5.00
Euro


What i want: column B to show the currency symbol based on the value of column A.
VBA ; Conditional formatting or any other suggestions are welcomed.

Conditional Formatting hould work - You would need to set different rules for each currency

SO for example , for Euro, you write =$A1="Euro" then format as currency and choose euro then
for USD, you write the rule as $A1 = "USD", then format as currency and choose symbol as the dollar e.t.c

Before doing this ensure you have all the data in column B highlighted
