Formula Assistance Please - If that than this

Cell B5 calculates the 6-month mark based on start Cell A9.

Cell H5 is the problem.

If cell B5 returns a date that is equal to the first of the month (true) then Cell H5 should reflect the same date .. in this case 2/1/2023.

However if cell B5 returns a date that is NOT equal to the first of the month – then I want H5 to reflect the first of the next month (3/1/2023) from the date returned.

I have tried multiple IF formulas and it is still coming out wrong .. I am at a loss.

Great, try with start dates at the end of the month as well. and try ranges that exclude February as well. Try ranges that include both July and August.

All have returned the correct result. THANK YOU for sharing your expertise!
