Formula Assistance

I am wondering if anyone can assist with writing a formula...I currently have a formula to calculate the sum of any cells with real numbers and then place a zero if applicable. However, I am looking for a formula that will only place a zero in the cell when applicable and nothing else.

What formula are you using now? Can you give an example of how the result should differ for your new scenario?
