Hi guys,

I have a problem on formulating an equation on the following data.

JAN 15000
FEB 17987
MAR 19908
APR 35812

AVERAGE 22176.75

Now I want to increase the AVERAGE to 25000, and changes from JAN to APR has to be made according to the ratios before.

(i.e. JAN 16.9%, FEB 20.3%, MAR 22.4%, APR 40.4%)

How could I possibly do that? Thanks in advance!

Excel Facts

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
Divide 2500 by 22176.75
Copy that answer and then select the 4 cells with values that are averaged and then paste special, values, multiply.

cheers
