Formula - Calculation

Hi, i want to calculate unique products sold for today, yesterday, week and month. Product A = 1 and Product B = 2. If they sell, 10 product A's and 20 product B's then it is only 2 unique products being sold for the day for yesterday, per week, per month.
Which formula will be the best to calculate this???
