Hello:

I have a workbook with 5 tabs. All tabs are exactly the same; however each tab represent a different year. I have the first tab done and I will like to copy the tab that have the correct formulas four more times.

Is there a quick way for me to change the formulas that need to be corrected on the new tabs?? I have tried find and replace but it expects me to update the values with a different spreadsheet.

For example, i have the following formula: =SUMIF(Sales445LY!$F:$F,'LY Details'!$B590,Sales445LY!Z:Z)

On the new tab, I will like to replace Sales445LY with Sales445TY
Is there another work around besides CTRL +H???

Any help will be great.

Excel Facts

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
I don't understand why find and replace isn't working unless the new sheet doesn't exist? Not sure what you mean, by it wants me to update values with another spreadsheet? How so?

Schielrn-

You make a good point! I forgot that the tab is not named Sales445TY Its ony Sales445.

Thanks. I thought I was going crazy for a minute!

No problem I have had plenty of those days before and I was trying to think of what could cause that problem and when you said it keeps wanting to update with another spreadsheet, I thought it might be coming up with an open workbook dialogue box.
