Hello,

I wonder if anyone has a quick fix for my problem.

I have inherited a spreadsheet where every block of two cells has the following formula in

Column A, Rows 2 & 3:

Code:
=IF(ABS(input!F2)>0.001,"Post","Do Not Post")
=IF(ABS(input!F2)>0.001,"Post","Do Not Post")

Column A, Rows 4 & 5:

Code:
=IF(ABS(input!F3)>0.001,"Post","Do Not Post")
=IF(ABS(input!F3)>0.001,"Post","Do Not Post")

etc etc

I now have to add thousands more of these formula but I can't just copy and paste or drag them because the cell references start drifting.

Is there a quick fix?

Thank you for reading.

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
How about, in A2 dragged down
=IF(ABS(INDEX(input!F:F,INT(ROW()/2)+1))>0.001,"Post","Do Not Post")
