Maybe I'm just having one of those Fridays - because this should be a no brainer....

I am dragging a formula down a column and some cells in this column contain fill color. How do I keep the fill color during the drag? (Excel 2007)

Don't drag down...

Instead, COPY the first cell in the column..
Highlight the rest of the column, Paste Special - Formulas.

Hope that helps.

Instead of Left-Clicking and dragging, use the Right-Click and Drag, then choose "Copy without Formatting"
