Hi

I'd like to copy a cell (J1) with a formula and fill it down to all cells from J13, downwards, based on data populated in column A.

The formula in cell J1 is =IFERROR(I1/G1,"")

I've used code from this site to do this for multiple columns, but I'm not sure how to do it for a single column?

Please find below code that's been used for multiple columns.

If you could advise how I can do this, it would be greatly appreciated!

I thought I could use this, but it didn't work, as expected?

VBA Code:
Sub Fill

Range("J1").Copy
Range("j13").PasteSpecial xlPasteFormulas
Range("j13", Range("j" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp).FillDown

End Sub

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
VBA Code:
Sub Fill()
Range("J1").Copy Range("J13:J" & Range("A" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp).Row)
End Sub

This is great - Scott Huish.

Thank you!

I have one final question, though. Do you know how I can paste the formula only (and not the formatting)?

Actually, I've worked it out.
VBA Code:
Sub Fill()

Range("J1").Copy
Range("J13:J" & Range("A" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp).Row).PasteSpecial xlPasteFormulas

End Sub
