Formula for contain condition

Hi,

i have names in colum a like...


a
a1 Sanjay Sitaram Godambe
a2 Dilip Ratnakar Zuzam
a3 Sanjay Ratnakar Godambe
a4 Sujit Ratnakar Patki

want if row a1 contains ratnakar then it should show me true or false likewise...

Excel Facts

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
=ISNUMBER(FIND("Ratnakar",A1))

Note that FIND is case sensetive, if you want it to return true for "ratnakar" or "RATNAKAR" as well then use SEARCH instead.
