I have a spreadsheet that I need to replicate further down on the same sheet.
This replicated set of data will be done in the simple form of =A1 (this could be the code Z). Others could be =A2 (this could be the code GD) or =A3 (this could be XTH)
However, I only wish to carry the first alpha, i.e. only the G, X and obviously Z.
Thank you for your assistance.

Excel Facts

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
Thanks so much for your quick response, spot on, that's what I was after.
Cheers, and have a good night Jeff.
Regards, Pete
