Hi everyone,
in cell E1 I have todays date (=today())
in column A I have a list of dates going up in 2week periods,

so 1/09, 15/09 etc

I want to match todays date and find the two week period it belongs in?
the dates are period ending so 15/09 would be 02/09 to 15/09

can anyone tell me how to do this?
thought it would be easy, but not got it yet!

Thanks

Tony

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
Hello Tony,

You could use LOOKUP to get the relevant end date, e.g. with dates in A2:A10 try this

=LOOKUP(E1-1,A2:A10)+14

that should give you the correct end date of the period - if you want period start date just use +1 instead of +14
