Hello I have 2 spreadsheets:

Spreadsheet 1 - Where all the data is stored
Spreadsheet 2 - Where I want to copy some data on Spreadsheet 1

I used the = command but I get the #value! The formula is shown below:

='[Site Flow Chart - Staple Chambers.xlsx]Flowchart'!$E$40:$G$40

I believe the problem is that it is trying to = a range of cells as the data is merged into 3 cells.

Any ideas would be much appreciated?

Many thanks in advance.

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
Does this work?

='[Site Flow Chart - Staple Chambers.xlsx]Flowchart'!$E$40
