Formula for Worksheet Name

Hi,
is it possible to put a simple formula in a cell to show the name of a worksheet.

=RIGHT(CELL("FILENAME"),LEN(CELL("FILENAME"))-FIND("]",CELL("FILENAME")))

Note that this will not work on a new file that has not been saved.

Good point Barrie! If you have mutliple sheets open, then the value will change as well.

Yeah I just noticed that. Am just trying to work that out now as I need this to give me the name for each individual worksheet all in the same file!

You can get around that by slightly changing the formula to:

=RIGHT(CELL("FILENAME",A1),LEN(CELL("FILENAME",A1))-FIND("]",CELL("FILENAME",A1)))
