Problem: Have a large table with lots of data for each month. I am trying to transpose a set of columns as rows in a new table, with a less amount of unique values from rows in table 1 now as the headers in table 2.
I want to sum the column values in table 1 that are now row values in table 2 if they match column headers in table 2 that are the unique row values that i pulled from table 1.
....I am confusing myself...
Table 1:
Columns T through CB are causes and the rows list occurrences
In Column D will be a machine number in each row, but there are only 15 unique values.
Table 2:
The unique machine numbers are now the column headers
the 60 different causes are now row headers in column A
Need to match the row name in table 2 to the column name in table 1 and sum those occurrences for each instance of a machine number.
