formula help (just not sure what ALL help)

First let me say I have found my new hang out spot!!! After watching several of the UTube videos on Excelisfun channel I know I need to watch ALL 1,600 videos!! However in the interest of getting my work done before Christmas 2012..... I need some help with 2 different formulas. I have spent many hours trying to determine the best way to do this.

1. Current Inventory

a. Column A has a list of chemicals
b. Column B current lbs on hand
c. Column C cost per lb

2. Inventory transactions​

a. Column A has a list of chemicals
b. Column B has lbs purchased or sold
c. Column C has the purchase price

Working from Sheet 1 Current Inventory
1. From Sheet I want to extract new records from sheet 2 and add them to column A displaying newly purchased items. Can you keep this list sorted in alphabetical order dynamically???

· Working from Sheet 1.

I want to look up the chemical name from A1 in sheet 2. If it exists:​

a. I want to add (purchases) or subtract (sales) the number from cell B1 in sheet 2 to cell B1 in sheet 1 Inventory. This does need to be dynamic. The same chemical will be purchased and sold many times.

b. If this is true I want to display the number from sheet 2 Cell C1 (purchase price) but ONLY if it is greater than the current value.
​
