Formula Help PLEASE. Need to remove the decimal.

Hi All:

I am looking for the easiest way (formula?) to remove the decimal from a number and have the answer as text.

For Example:

A1 is $24 500.00 and I want the formula to return 2450000
A2 is $26 767.98 and I want the answer to be 2676798

How can i accomplish that? I think it is pretty simple but that is the way I am feeling at the moment as well

Added: can you tell me what the "0" represents? I just want to have a better understanding.

In the text function whatever is between the quotes is the formatting, so if you use a formula like

=TEXT(A1,"$0.00")

then you convert A1 to a text formatted dollar value. "0" formats the number as an integer
