FORMULA HELP

Hello iam looking for a formula for status collumn that will check date on overdue date and write "'overdue'' or ''valid'' depending on the due date.
also iam looking for what to read to sharpen my knowledge on this excel.

Welcome to the Board!

Place this formula in H2 and copy down for all rows:

=IF(G2<TODAY(),"OVERDUE FOR MEDICALS","VALID")

As for books, you may want to check out what the MrExcel bookstore has to offer.

If you like visual learning, there are lots f good video tutorials on YouTube.
The thing with Excel is that it is so wide, and there is so much to it, you may need to be specific as to what you want to learn about/focus on (i.e. creating formulas in Excel, etc).

I do see some YouTube videos named:
"The Beginner's Guide to Excel - Excel Basics Tutorial"
and
"Introduction to Excel: The Basics for Absolute Beginners"
so perhaps those are a few good places to start.
