Hello,

I am pulling my hair out as I cannot see the issue with this formula:

=INDEX(CombinedNOI[OBJECTID],MATCH(MIN(SQRT((CombinedNOI[Lat]-U13)^2+(CombinedNOI[Long]-V13)^2)),SQRT((CombinedNOI[Lat]-U13)^2+(CombinedNOI[Long]-V13)^2),0),1)

It was working perfectly until I linked it to a different table - I have changed the table names and column IDs to match, but it all I get is #REF!. Am I missing something?

Excel Facts

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
#REF! would mean that one of the table names is incorrect, there is nothing else in the formula that would cause it.

Best suggestion would be to use the formula evaluation tool (Formulas > Evaluate or Alt m v) to see which part is causing the error.

Note that an error in the table or one of the cells used in the formula will be carried to this formula if not resolved.

Solution
when i created a table named CombinedNOI w/ columns: OBJECTID, Lat, Long; then in the ref cells (as in your formula posted) u13 & v13
it does seem to be returning OBJECTID values from the table.

could you share your data so we can see what's going on better?
