Can someone please help? I need help with my formula

=IF(COUNTIF(O69:O82,">0"),COUNTIF(O69:O82,">0")+ R85

I need the formula to count how many values between R69:R82 in column R that are greater than 0. Than the rows that have a value >0 go to column E add the total of the selected rows, then add it to R85.

does this make sence?

Excel Facts

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.

Well, I only need to add the cells in column E if they have value >0 in column R

Isn't that exactly what Barry's formula does?

Am sorry for some reason its adding all the cells in column E even though some of the cell have a value < 0. I need the formula to add Column E only if there is a value in column R.

for example

Column
R----------------------O
Row
1------ 13,106
2---------3,342
3---------2,328
4---------2,520
5------------0 --------------8
6---------2,354
7--------------0

Total = 5 because no value in R, if the there was a value in R then the total would be 5.8

Now I'm confused :(

A few questions...

You have mentioned both column E and column O, which one do you want to use?

Are you trying to count values in this column if the corresponding row in R is greater than zero, or sum them, or something different?

Why does your example give a result of 5 - it looks like you're just counting numbers greater than zero in column R - but then why 5.8?

thank you very much for your reply. Ok

I am trying to count how many cells have a value > 0 between R69:R82. Then the rows that have a value >0 in column R go to those cells in E column. but only the cells that have value > 0. then add E69:E82 but once again only the cells that have a value>0 in column R. Then take the total and add it to R69:R82 total.

The formula is still not working. I need to count how many value's between R69:R82 not sum them. But then sum E69:E82 only if that cell has a value in R69:R82. then add that total to R69:R82

is this more clear
