Hi All:

I have a simple database below. The user has to input PO or NO PO in column D. In column E I need a formula that will put in the sequence. So if the user change the No PO to PO then the sequence needs to be updated based on the order.

Then I need a formula to pull in data from column A based on the key in column E The formula in the current column is not working. Can someone please help.

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
Can someone please tell me a formula I can use to get the 'key' working. I just need help in making it dynamic based on the user input.

Interesting, it works for me. Let's take the formula 1 piece at a time. What is your result when you plug the following formula into cell B13?

=MATCH(1,$E$4:$E$9,0)

I'm getting a result of 2.
