Assuming that B2:B10 contains the amounts to be summed, any reason why you can't simply use...

=SUM(B2:B10)

Or do you have other data between the amounts that you do not want to include in the calculation? Maybe you have another column which identifies the amounts to sum? Can you please clarify?

It is two colums and each colum is a sum for each one and the grandtotal is a colum plus b colum.

How do i track profit margenand make it campatible with 2007 and 2002 versions.

To track "profit margin," you first need to distinguish between Gross Profit and Net Profit.

Gross Profit is calculated as: Sales - Cost of Goods (Cost of Goods). Gross Profit Margin is calculated as: Gross Profit / Sales.

Net Profit is calculated as Sales - All Costs and Expenses. Net Profit Margin is calculated as: Net Profit / Sales.

You haven't entered any information besides Sales, so to do these other calculations, you need to input COGS for Gross Profit, and all of your costs for Net Profit.

All of these calculations are compatible with any version of Excel.
