Hi :) I have used this forum as a guest many times before, thought it was about time I joined!

I'm working with 52 columns of values and I've been doing analysis on the sum of the 41 lowest values and their average. The part I'm having trouble with is I need a forumla to take the 41 lowest values of these 52 and then bring back the max value of the 41

Does anyone have any ideas??

Thank you

Liz

Excel Facts

Pivot Table Drill Down
Double-click any number in a pivot table to create a new report showing all detail rows that make up that number
Thanks guys, I don't know why I didn't know this, think I must have been thinking it must have been more complicated then that lol!

Is there a way to make it ignore 0 values?

If you need the 41st smallest number, which is >0, then count the ZERO's and add this to the variable, eg.

=SMALL($A$1:$AZ$1,41+countif($A$1:$AZ$1,0))
