I am trying to write this formuls for cell I2. I think there is too many arguments though?

If H is = Y, then I is A +1, if H = N or blank then I = the greater of F2+30 or A2 + 7

Yes, that is correct

=IF(H2="Y",A2+1,MAX(F2+30,A2+7))

Returns #NAME?
