I am trying to figure out the formula to calculate overall monthly percentages. The Columns go from B to H

B2-H2 are just headings, Sunday-Saturday
B4-H4 are sales numbers
B5-H5 are percentages of the week, so monday is 10% of weekly sales and so on.
B9-H9, B13-H13, B17-H17 and B21-H21 are all the other percentages for the other weeks in the month.

At the bottom I have a spot for overall percentages. So I need to know how to figure out monthly monday sales, tuesday monthly sales, and so on.

Excel Facts

Use Data, What-If Analysis, Goal Seek to find the correct input cell value to reach a desired result
You cannot weight average percentages. The same amount of Monday sales could be different percentages each week. you need the weekly totals to produce a valid weight average.

Re: Percentage Formula Help

Assuming that you have Sunday in column B and there are 5 weeks, then you can put this formula in

B17 = "=SUM(B15,B12,B9,B6,B3)/SUM(SUM($B3:$H3),SUM($B6:$H6),SUM($B9:$H9),SUM($B12:$H12), SUM($B15:$H15))"
