I have a lengthy spreadsheet with monthly formulas in columns going back two years. As data for the most recent month is added on another tab, the data in the column representing that recent month should automatically update. It doesn't. I have to go to each cell, click into the formula bar and hit enter. If I do that, the formula works and data is updated. It's almost as if I needed a "refresh" button that would update all the cells at once, as opposed to clicking each of about 1000 cells.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
Sounds like your workbook is set to Manual Calculation mode.
Try setting it to Automatic Calculation mode.

Thank you both for your replies. That's exactly what it was. It's weird that it was turned off, I don't remember ever doing that. In any case, thanks, it's working now.
