In excel 2003
Writing in one box 11/29/13, box 41607 result value appears to be in line o 11/29/13 to insert function (fx) above. I know that putting the box in text format i will gave me the result I want, but the problem is that I have THOUSANDS of dates with me database that are viewed as the 41607.

Gracias/Thanks

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.

Try these:

1) Select all the range;
2) Format the cells as date: you can use "Shift + #" or "Crtl + 1" > "Date".

I´ve tried that and doesn´t work.
I´ve found an option: text in colums>delimited>format of colums:text
BUT...this change works with the date, but no with the formula "=finishing date - start date"
Any clues?

1) What is the original value of the cells of the start and the finish date?
2) What is the calculation that you want to do with theses numbers?
