Hello All,

I have a formula that looks up one cell and looks on another sheet to return data. I would like to also see the work 'Laptop' and get the information from that.

=IFERROR(INDEX('FreshExport(281222)'!C:C,MATCH($A2,'FreshExport(281222)'!H:H,0)),"")

This looks up the asset in C on the export page then matches it with the name on the main sheet and name along side the asset then pulls the asset into the cell of the formula.
I would like it to look up the word Laptop in column B [='FreshExport(281222)'!B:B] find word laptop with the name.

=IFERROR(INDEX('FreshExport(281222)'!C:C,MATCH($A2,'FreshExport(281222)'!H:H)&("laptop",'FreshExport(281222)'!B:B,0)),"") (something like that)

Can you help?

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
What version of Excel are you using?

I suggest that you update your Account details (or click your user name at the top right of the forum) so helpers always know what Excel version(s) & platform(s) you are using as the best solution often varies by version. (Don’t forget to scroll down & ‘Save’)

Thanks for that.
How about
Excel Formula:
=TAKE(FILTER('FreshExport(281222)'!C:C,($A2='FreshExport(281222)'!H:H)*("laptop"='FreshExport(281222)'!B:B),""),1)
