I am using this formula

=REPT("|",GETPIVOTDATA("Notes",$A$3,"Employee Name","Paul","Filter","Non Productive")*5)

Paul is on A5, and I want to be able to drag down this formula. I have 356 row, If I drag down this formula as is, it gives me the result of first formula, there fore I have to retype this formula for each row.

Please correct the formula.

thanks.

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
Thanks Snoopyhr, this page is good, but unfortunately it does not give the answer I am looking for, but it is worth reading.

Thanks again
