Stuck and puzzled!

Sheet2,B2 needs the value from Sheet1, next cell below of the selected cell, Column A.

NOTE: This will always be the selected cell in that Sheet, so I would not know the cell reference. The OFFSET formula would give me the cell below that cell.

Thanks for your input on this needed task!

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
No..

I would not know the cell reference. I need the cell value below that selected cell..

Thanks for your reply!!

I'm not sure I fully understand your needs.

The offset formula would be written something like this:

=OFFSET(Sheet1!A2,1,0), in this case would return Sheet1!A3.

But maybe you are looking for a macro, because I am not sure if your sheet knows the cells to reference via formula or inputs or you mean someone clicks any random cell and the corresponding reference is made to your Sheet1 and therefore returns the contents of the sheet to the cell your select?.

Perhaps, if that is the case, someone out there could createa macro for you?
