I would like to create a formula in Excel that can make it easy to look up a zip code by simply typing in the zip code to identify the proper zone.

I'm not even sure what this type of formula is called.

We distribute oil to various customers in the united states.

It would be nice to type in their zip code and have the proper zone come up in excel rather than look up every zip code manually.

For example. 02896 is zone 2. We have 8 zones in total and about 150 zip codes that I will have to type in but once done it will be so easy to add more and update if anything changes.

I'd like a formula to simply type in the zip code. So there would be one cell to type in any zip code and it would tell you the zone.

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
