Hi, I need two formuli, one that will find the first Monday in June for any given year, the other to find the 4th Monday in October for any given year.

This is to find public holidays specific to New Zealand.

thanks in advance.

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Hi,

Try:

=DATE(A1,6,8-WEEKDAY(DATE(A1,6,0),2))

and

=DATE(A1,10,8-WEEKDAY(DATE(A1,10,0),2))+21

A1 holds the year e.g. 2005
