Formula needed

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
You can try:

=RIGHT(CELL("filename",A1),LEN(CELL("filename",A1))-FIND("]",CELL("filename",A1)))

Hope that helps.

=REPLACE(CELL("filename",A1),1,FIND("]",CELL("filename",A1)),"")

That formula should show the tab name? Make sure you have saved the workbook for the formula to work.

I think the OP may have confused
Worksheet title and SHEET Name...

WorkBOOK title = Bookname.xls
WorkSHEET title = Tab Name

For WorkSHEET title - use formulas provided previously...

for WorkBOOK Title, (i'm sure there's something easier than this...)
=MID(CELL("filename",A1),FIND("[",CELL("filename",A1))+1,FIND("]",CELL("filename",A1))-FIND("[",CELL("filename",A1))-1)

The workbook does need to be saved first in order for these formulas to work. Save the workbook and then hit F9
