formula needed.

hey could some body help me out

i have data like this


name1 name1 name1 name2 name 2 name 2 name 3
date date date date
date date date date

i want a formula when to find name1 use the data below which is the (date)

imagine as if it was log on and out dates by names and i want to when name1 logged on and when he logged out as i want it as flows

name1 date date date
name2 date date
name3 date date

thanks for the answer but i want a formula so i don't have to do this manually as i use it alot

something like hlookup or vlookup
