I have just started at a new company and there is an extremely tedious process for getting our 1099 data together from Yardi. For this question, we have an excel sheet that I am currently formatting and it will take hours and hours and I'm hoping there is some sort of "if/then" formula or macro that could cut this down. Below is a screenshot of the sheet. I have to copy the data from columns A-H and copy that down to the sub-transactions below each gray bar. Is there any way to tell it something like "below gray copy data a-h until you hit another gray or bold text"??
