I need a formula to calculate the below please...

I have a file of 1863.68 MB. Conisdering a Bandwith of 56Kbps it will take me 9 hrs and 47 minutes to download this file.

Calculation :
56 kilobytes per second * 60 seconds = 3360 kilo bytes per minute

3360 kilo bytes * 60 minutes = 201600 kilo bytes per hour or 196.87 megabites

So to download 1863.68 megabytes it will take me 9 hours and 47 minutes.

Can Excel help me with this calculation.

Please advise a formula.

Thanks in advance.

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
I got a slightly different answer. Sorry I don't know how to copy parts of worksheets in.

File size: 1953.13664
D/load speed: 0.056
time: 09:41:17

File size:
Code:
=1863.68*1.048
time:
Code:
=SUM(((G2/G3)/86400))

and format the time as hh:mm

Hope this helps.
