Formula Question (Sum values if date is Tuesday)

Hi all,

I have a list with dates and baseball game attendance for those dates. I'm trying to write a formula to sum the attendance of all games played on a Tuesday (for example). The dates are in column B and the attendance is in column C.

Good afternoon VBA_Newbie

Try this formula :

=SUM(IF((TEXT($B$1:$B$50,"dddd")="Tuesday"),$D$1:$D$50,0))

The example goes down to row 50 - adjust to suit. This is an array formula so use Ctrl + Shift + Enter to commit.
