I have this formula =IF(A1=”AD”,”T”,””)

In addition to the “AD” I want to add as a condition “BT” or “SM”
so as its scanned down Col A I get a blank for anything other than AD or BT or SM

and get a T when Col A contains AD or BT or SM.

What should the formula be?

Im using Excel 2000.
Thank you

Hi,

Try this:

=IF(OR(A1="AD",A1="BT",A1="SM"),"T","")

Should do what you're after.
