Hi
I need to keep the numbers to the right of the decimal. I always need a 3 digit number with zeros included. A 3rd decimal is never exceeded.
Before 21.450
After 450
The formula im using below returns 45 and my desired result is 450
=MID(F3,FIND(".",F3)+1,256)
TIA!

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
If you want the integer part as well as the 3 position decimal part:

VBA Code:
=TRUNC(F3,0) & "." & RIGHT(TEXT(F3,"0.000"),3)
