I need a formula to add up certain data. For example I have a spread sheet where we enter information in and the put the persons name. What I need is to add up the data thats put in by each person. Ex. data is in C2:C99. And the names are in F2:F99, so how would I add up all of Jacks information in Column C specifically put in by Jack???

you need to use the sumif option.

=SUMIF(F2:F99,"Jack",C2:C99)

This should sum all the values specific to Jack.

If you're summing, Damnnnn formula should work, if you're counting,

=SUMPRODUCT(--(ISNUMBER(C2:C99)),--(F2:F99="Jack"))
