I used to be able to convert a date to month or year using formula like =Text(A2, "MMMM"), but suddenly i have to change the formula to =Text(A2*29, "MMMM"), otherwise regardless of the date, it will only display January. And i don't yet know how to do the year. Anyone know why this suddenly changed for me and how do I go back to old formula? This began recently as well as i have to keep going back to settings to reset to Automatic calculations.

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
What exactly is in cell A2?
Can you post some examples?

And tell us what this formula returns:
Excel Formula:
=ISNUMBER(A2)

You are welcome. Glad you got it sorted.

You mentioned about messing with the Calculation mode. Maybe it was set to Manual or something.
