Formula to convert dollar amount to text

I know this question has been asked before...and have tried to use the answers given...but it doen't seem to be working for me.

In cell C10, I have the dollar amount $12,426.75. In cell D10, I want it to convert this number to (Twelve-thousand four hundred twenty six dollars and 75 cents).

I am using MS Excel 2003 SP2. Is there a simple formula that I can just paste into cell D10, without needing VBA script?
